We are so psyched for Voltage tomorrow night we just cant even tell you. Our suggestion for you…..take the afternoon off, grab a friend, and a bottle of wine (ahh you better make it the 1.75, its going to be 75 and sunny, who are you trying to fool?) pack a picnic, take a walk around the lakes (preferably not with the wine open and in your hand, but we’re not the boss of you). And make your way up to IVY in Uptown for a preview of their hot spring and summer ensembles. Then prep yourself for some smokin hot local designs featured at the wonderful First Ave. But you better get there early, we wouldn’t be surprised if this show sold out.

  Get your mind out of the gutter!  We’re talking about our brand new handmade leather cuff bracelets!  This is just a teaser, but definitely expect to see more in the weeks ahead.  If you can’t wait until May for the launch of our cuff collection on the website, we will be previewing them at the Picky Girl event during MNFashion week on April 22 from 5:00-8:00pm.  Swing on down and mingle with local talent (aka fashion designers) grab a snack compliments of D’Amico and Sons and who could forget a glass of vino. Well here we are.  We arrived in Chicago yesterday morning ready to take the city by storm.  After miles of walking in the rain to our hotel, bargaining some free stuff from the front desk guy Dave (he could be Rapport’s newest employee…), and a couple of glasses of cheap Shiraz, we discovered this city is full of inspiration.  From the fashionistas walking the subways in their 6 inch heels, to the creative window displays along Damen, we’re dying to start executing these ideas into our next collection.  Expect to see many exposed zippers, more layers of suede, and huge tote bags in the weeks to come.

Today’s agenda includes meeting with manufacturers, checking out more boutiques, and obsessively taking pictures of the interesting characters we see along the way.  Photos will be posted for your enjoyment in the next few days.

Ladies and Gents…I am proud to be floggin bloggin on this balmy 13 degree Friday afternoon. Michele here reporting live from our Northeast Studio. Its colder than a polar bears toe nail and all we have on our minds is spring. Flowers, fresh cut grass, short shorts (preferably not on men but whatever floats your boat) and bright vibrant colors strewn all over our leather handbags. Hold your breath…only two, count it TWO weeks and BAM our spring launch is here.

In all seriousness, or as serious as we can be after a few glasses of wine, we would like to thank w7 for their continued support of our fine products.
